Au Pair Netherlands

The Netherlands (Dutch: Nederland, also commonly, but incorrectly, called Holland in English) is a European country, bordering Germany to the east and Belgium to the south. The people, language, and culture of the Netherlands is referred to as "Dutch" however most persons speak English as well. The Netherlands has many cities and towns of interest to travellers and workers alike such as Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam to name a few.

Our Au Pair (Nanny) program to the Netherlands seeks mostly young females and in some rare cases males to work as Au Pairs for one year taking care of young children within a Dutch family home. The program requires that au pairs have proven relevant childcare experience such as babysitting, nursery nurse, kindergarten care and teaching etc in order to be able to function doing childcare services without supervision in a home setting. Au Pairs should be between the ages of 18 to 30 years old and should have completed high school or vocational training or higher learning in healthcare, childcare, education or social work. Au Pairs must speak good English and have good communication skills.

Au Pairs work for 30 hours per week over 5 days per week and 8 hours a day and are entitled to 2 days of per week and one full weekend per month. They are provided with free accommodation, food and the opportunity to learn a new language while working in the Netherlands. Au Pairs earn 300 Euros in their pocket each month which they save as they do not have to pay for rent or food or transportation to work. All Au Pairs must be covered by medical and health insurance.

Au Pair should have a profound love for children and should not be married or have children of their own. They should be non smokers and should be willing to do light housework while taking care of the children, they should have a genuine interest in care for children.

Getting started:

We are seeking many au pairs at this time to market to families in the Netherlands who are waiting to hire. Here is what you would need to provide to us in order for your application to be considered:

-Book to complete a psychometric test on our website (Booking Fee of JM$3500)
-Once you have received a positive result on your Psychometric Test pay the Administrative Fee of 34 Euro
-Fill out an Au pair application
-Provide 2 childcare references (should not be related to child)
- Provide 1 character reference (from Pastor, JP, Teacher, Principal/Lecturer, Police)
- Medical record verification form
- Police Record (not older than 3 months)
- Copies of Education Certificate/diploma
- Copy of driver’s license (if any)
- Copy of Passport (all pages where information and stamps are located)
- A Dear family letter (1-2 pages)
- Photo collage (please ensure that your Photos are decent and presentable and that you should show yourself with children in the photos where you have provided childcare duties)
- Two Passport Photos
